after market PELSEE Dash Cam. installing the 24 hour wire connection. ITs asking for a ACC connection and a 12v connection. Which fuse did you jump to do this? so that the camera records 24/7 thank you

I used a OBD power take off with a voltage protection cutoff set to 12.1V. Camera will still record if there is an impact or movement in the cameras view.

Couldn't the Dongar adapter for the OEM dashcam be reconfigured to be 12 volt on all the time and still have an acc on?

Yes, the Dongar adapter can be rewired. They are also coming out with a new version that will be always on.

I just scrolled through their website and don't see any mention of an "always on" connector. Where are you getting this information? Would you mind sharing?

Yeah, check out post #112 & #120 in this thread. I had an email conversation with one of the co-owners of Dongar, and there is a video linked of the functionality.

Pull the sunglasses holder down and there’s a socket with everything you need. Wire to that or make a connector. You can buy on Amazon

A member on here was selling pigtails for that headliner plug...thats where the OEM dashcam connects. I use that, paired with a low voltage cutoff for my cam

I used the hardwire kit from Vantrue, removed the connector and wired directly to those wires. Works fine. I can always replace that connector if I need to.

I've mentioned this before in the other thread, and I think about it all the time, but I wish there were some smart person out there who'd created a piece of hardware and program that can tap into all the camera feeds and capture it as dashcam recording--like Tesla. It seems like a huge wasted opportunity for the 6 cameras.
