Anyone know where to order the green caps for the bulbs
Or what an acceptable replacement item would be?

    Thanks in advance

    PS

If I go with LED Bulbs, does the dimming function still work correctly?

Any other info is also appreciated.

My dimming works with the LED lights.

Dimming works with LED. Just buy colored LED bulbs instead of the rubbers.

I converted my 2003 dash-lights to leds i got off eBay. Dimmer works great, but I went with blue lights. Be warned if you go led the lights are mono-polar meaning they only light up plugged in one way, so test everything Before reinstalling your cluster.

Dimming works....ish. Full dim is about equivalent to full bright with the old lights. I found that I needed to stick with incandescents for the 4WD light as that is on all winter and was way too bright with white LED's. (those lights are non dimming regularly so of course do not dim as LEDs either)

FYI, do not replace the battery warning light with an LED. It must be an incandescent for your charging system to work.

You also want to keep the fuel light incandescent if you want that to function also.
