Not many people care for these but with new material out there instead of that classic stuff rug/ Berber material or whatever it is this new micro suede it makes it a little more desirable !

I must say, I am pleasantly surprised by how it fits the truck dash and actually makes it have some pop. I must admit that when the weather cools down and the windows come down. My OCD gets the best of me and there have been plenty of times I thought about picking one up.

    take care

Not ashamed to say I like it. One less place to clean. I hate washing the truck. Where did you get this?

In the southwest a dash mat is almost mandatory. Has nothing to do with the age of the owner. The sun will bake and destroy the dash in no time so having a mat allows it to take all the abuse. It also helps with any dash glare on the windshield while driving.

Nice looking material. I have the traditional mat but will have to check out the options they have.

    Thanks for the info.

Yeah I actually did get it for the glare reduction as well and maybe to help absorb some of the heat like you said to
Not kill the dash ... I think the material if I'm not mistaken is called Sedona suede

So true. When i lived in the Mojave desert evryone had them. We also had a shade for the windshield called a wing shade. It went across the windshield and then back across the front door windows. Was made of that folding accordian silver mylar. I used that and a carboard one to cover the back glass of my F150 regular cab.

I got my whole system from James. I’m not far from you. About hour north from Lehigh. My wife and I go there a lot. I have a installer in Pottsville who has been in the business for over 20 years and I am friends with him. He has done a lot of my installs over the years. Never had a problem with me buying my audio stuff somewhere else and bring it to him to do the install. I love my system and had the whole inside sound deadening. It’s does sound awesome that’s why I have not rushed into changing the headunit. Down the road when I decide I want the bigger screen I will make that move and have him install it. The place in Pottsville is 12VoltDaves. This was the first system I never had the headunit changed out. But they know how to tune a system really good. I know a aftermarket will change my sound to even better because that what aftermarket headunits do when you have good audio to back it up.
