Alright so I have ~650 miles on my truck. I noticed today on the way home from work that my gauge showing 1 tick mark from being on low. I did check my oil before I drove the truck off the lot and it seemed fine.

Are other tundra owners seeing their oil levels in the same place after an oil change? (For clarity sake, I have not changed the oil yet, but I’m wondering if it’s supposed to look this low)

It's not an oil level gauge, it's an oil pressure gauge, low and high..
Increase those RPMs and I bet it goes up.

Unless it is pegged to the left on low or pegged to the right on high, I wouldn't overthink it and worry about it..

Correct, its oil pressure. You will notice in the morning with a cold engine it will rise very quickly as the oil is cold when you RPM rises. As operations temp is reached movement from the needle will be much less unless your racing some Dodge and he’s about the go get another leak fixed on his way to his dealership.

Don't beat yourself up over this. I had a girlfriend many years ago exclaim that she was impressed that her car turned on a red HOT light when it was hot outside.

I was curious on what the gauge is reading at idle. So I pulled out the laptop to read the psi at idle on a warmed up oil. About 100 kPA or 14.5 psi. This with the needle just under the first tick, so safe to assume it’s about 15 psi at the first tick. Totally normal at idle with warm engine.
