    Hey guys,

I have a 2018 Platinum with almost 100k kms and out of nowhere while driving 2 days ago my dashboard lights up and I get errors after errors popping up. Pre Collision System malfunction, Drive Start System malfunction, Cruise control, ABS, Trailer brake, rear cross traffic alert, traction control malfunctions.

4HI and 4LO keeps flashing on the dash and the dial will not change anything. Truck runs fine, I just have no 4x4 and no electronics assist.

Plugged my bluetooth OBD2 scanner with Torque to pull error codes, no errors found in ECU. Drove it for 100kms today, no changes. I did notice in the fall a rodent had gotten cozy in my air filter but I took care of that, tried to look quickly for frayed or damaged wires, could not find anything.

Anyone has any ideas before I'm forced to bring it in to a dealer? Thanks!

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to see if the ecu resets?

This happened to me last week; check your battery terminal for corrosion. If not that replace the battery. That was my issue. Low voltage wreaks havoc on tundras

Battery test? When multiple systems go south simultaneously, a loose ground is a strong possibility.

I unplugged the battery and tried again still no luck. Checked with a multimeter and the voltages are definitely on the low side, might change the battery see if it helps. I'll also keep digging around for chewed wires.

Reading other posts similar, people keep talking about a blocked or dirty sensor, which sensor are they referring to?

Your battery is still OE and not an AGM, correct? I'm not sure what sensor you mention but you either have a slow draw, (maybe an aftermarket remote start?) or a bad OE battery...

My guess is wheel sensor or rodent damage. Definitely check under the engine cover. I had all the same symptoms, mine turned out to be rodent damage.

Sounds like a new battery is in store for you. Could have a bad cell. Bad batteries do some crazy things in these modern vehicles.

I've cleaned the engine bay of rodent droppings to see if they are left overs from when I had a resident in my air box or new.

I'm getting a new battery tomorrow. I do have an aftermarket remote start.

On a rodent side note mystery, about 2 months ago the tissue box I keep in the center console clearly had the visit of a rodent in it....I'm clueless as to how it got there as the box was new and placed there and when I noticed and took it out there was no rodent in the box or center console. I also don't see any physical holes it could've used to enter the console....

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I would try a new battery first, but do a good visual inspection for chewed/frayed wires.

Tried a new battery with no success, time to do a deep dive into the engine bay and look for rodent damage....

Did you check all the wheel speed sensors?

We often forget those, but they are critical part of every system you mentioned, and they will all start screaming if they lose a sensor.
