So I recently had a plow installed on my truck and the 9-pin connector pigtail was left under the steering column, which is typical, but I hate it. The problem I'm having is that I have an idea of what I'd like to do, but I do not know what the parts are called, or even how to explain it... smh.
My question is - is there an in-dash port connector (not sure of the name) that can be installed in one of the knockouts that would allow me to just plug my handheld controller into the dashboard rather than the pigtail sticking out from under my dash?

Any advise is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Nice plow!! I just installed a dk2 on mine :)

I’m not sure on the dash port, but my plow came with a winch and universal remote control that I’m sure could be utilized if you wanted to go that route. Is the 9-pin connector winch specific or plow control specific? My plow only has up and down that’s winch actuated, so I assume your’s is plow specific with more control options...

A guy could just pull one of the factory blanks out and cut a hole sized for your connector. I’ve used this black gasket maker for building plastic in past projects and it works wonders. Could use it to glue the connector to a switch blank from the backside. Decent for a backup idea if no one else comes in with some help.
