I have a new-to-me 2010. On my dashboard in the oil section there’s an ! I don’t know what this means. I bought it this summer and had my garage look it over and all was okay. I was told it was a great deal and a great truck. Four days ago I had the oil changed. All this time the exclamation mark has been on. What does it mean? What should be done? I want it off.

My owners manual shows four different exclamation points. Which is it?

If its the one on the 2nd row at the far right - check your tire pressure...or the tire pressure monitoring system might be bad...

more information is needed to help diagnose...

sine you said it was near the "oil" - I would think that it is the TPMS...

Thank you both. It’s the tire pressure. Now I remember, the previous owner said that while checking tire pressure the man somehow did something to the tire stem. Thus now there’s a problem with the sensor. Any easy and cheap method of correcting this problem?

Search this forum, there's instructions on "calibrating" the system, it may turn off the light. If the sensor is damaged, you'll need a new one.

The TPS warning is just that. It will not affect driveability. Maybe replace sensors when you get new tires.

The TPMS system can be diagnosed for free at any Discount Tire or Americas Tire.
If the light just showed up I would imagine they jacked with the tire pressure at the oil change shop.
Sometimes the monkeys will max out the tire pressure that it indicates on the sidewall of the tire (sometimes 44, sometimes 51) and this will throw the TPMS light. The TPMS will indicate an issue if the tire pressure is higher or lower than spec by 25%.
