What discount should I consider a good deal? Looks like they are giving me a 4.54% dealer discount. Should I push for more? I saw some posts about getting 10% or more.

It really just depends on the dealer, but I would definitely look at more than one if you can. If they are sitting on certain ones for a bit or if they have to move a certain amount of vehicles quickly for upcoming allocation purposes, you are more likely to get an even better deal. I just bought pretty much the same truck about a month ago ('24 Limited Hybrid Crewmax 6.5 w/ TRD pack and other options.) MSRP was $70,003 and I got it for $61,957 (Not including the fees, extended warranty I added, etc.)

You could always shop around the state to see if there are better deals or put dealers up against each other to see who can offer a lower price. But at the end of the day what is the time invested worth to you?
I know a lot of people say to look out of state for a better deal, but consider flight, gas, accommodation (if it is to far to do in a day), etc. For me that hassle doesn’t seem worth it unless the savings were double to what an in state dealer is offering. Also take into account trade in and if your state only makes you pay tax on the difference, this can help save a good amount on the tax burden.
I bought my tundra in February and got about 5k off the price and was roughly about 7-8% or so off the msrp plus with my trade the tax savings made it worth it to stay in state. At the time Toyota wasn’t offering customer cash so it was just the dealer discount. Just always remember if you have a reliable vehicle don’t feel bad walking away from a deal you aren’t happy with.

Discounts will vary by region and model. My deals in SoCal might be way off just a few hours away within the state. Your best bet is to look around other local dealers and see what theyre offering. Advertised prices are never the best prices, so you can negotiate....specially if youre a strong buyer.

Geez. With all the fees and tax the price just gets right back to msrp. That limited is way more expensive than my 23 1794

Shop around, take your time. There are at least two other thread talking about pricing. I was quoted 70k OTD in SWFL (included 6.5% tax). Bought the same truck for $54k OTD (before tax) at Adams Toyota in KC. The region and dealer make all the difference.

Geez, that crazy good. I bought mine a few weeks ago and thought the 6k below msrp i got was reasonable. Finally they are realizing those ridiculous sticker prices are too high.
