Delivery expectations

Oops. Vehicle build date of 2/17. Shipping to WA state. Estimated arrival between 3/3 and 3/13.

What has your experience been with regard to delivery. Was it earlier or later than expected? Dealer can’t tell me where it is in the freight process.

I’m antsy not just because I want my new truck but because I sold my GX460 yesterday and for the first time in my adult life I am without a vehicle! Felt like one of those loser boyfriends dropping my wife off at work yesterday in her car then picking her up when she was off in her car. “Yeah babe, I spent all day driving around applying for jobs. Can you put some more gas in the tank and get us dinner?” type of vibes - not for me!

 

Mine was sitting at the dealership while it said on rail still on the site. They lag and are behind so mine came a little earlier than expected.

 

Did you pay full MSRP for yours to get delivery?

I targeted the trucks that had been sitting on the lot the longest to get the most discount.

 

Yes, no discounts back then and 22s and 23s were bringing MSRP. MSRP back then was 6-10k less so I guess it works out to something similar, but discounts would have been nice back then.
