My understanding is Toyota will not send a diesel to the states because they refuse to put on all the unreliable regen bullshit... Making the most reliable vehicles unreliable...

Perhaps a software update to play a diesel engine noise instead of V8 noises like current trucks do?

If its actually true and they get them in the states that would be my only way to get a new one because I wont touch the 3rd gen shit

Someone put in a minimal amount of effort on an April Fool’s joke in photoshop and got some results here.

    LOL.

Exactly why gwt a truck thaya still having major issues with their motors.
Have you seen what has to be done to even fix shit on those? They literally have to drop the motor and for some simole ahit almost everything has to come apart. No thanks

102K on mine, no regen issues at all. Then again, if you buy a diesel you need to use a diesel. Not like most fanboi owners that run to the store down the road with them multiple times a day and own them to say they own a diesel. In almost all instances I have ran across with DPF/emissions problems it's how the vehicle is being used. Just an FYI.

Damn. That was kind of evil to do, but a good April fools gag. My 2023 Tundra replaces a 2014 Ram ecodiesel that had 100k miles on it, but was crushed like a tin can when a TT full of gravel ran a red, crushing it, and me, like a tin can. For all the mains that spun on the ecodiesels, especially 2014 and 2015s, mine ran like a top. I loved the styling of my ecodiesel as much as my Tundra, but I love the reliability of the Tundra more.
