An unimportant question that I can't seem to figure out the answer to and I can't find any information on.

Seems like 95% of the time when I start my truck the iforce max screen behind the steering wheel is yosemite valley. The other 5% of the time it is a wheat field. What dictates which image is shown?

Had anyone else seen different images? Does the ratio I shared above differ for you?

I am wondering if it is tied to the elevation the vehicle is at when started? I doubt it because there isn't an elevation displayed anywhere and I am in Wisconsin which is more wheat field that yosemite but can't come up with any other hypothesis.

It cycles through images from national parks at each startup. I think I have four or five different images.

Thanks for the national parks tip! That let me find a video on it: No way I have seen the other 3 in the video. The random order might not be random enough.

I never have the same image pop up in consecutive starts, weird.

I recall hearing way back in the introduction, it's images of 5 different national parks.

I have 20 thousand miles and the same three always seem to pop up. I’ve only see the forest scene a handful of times ever, too bad it’s my favorite when it does pop up. Ha

Yes, right now for me it is about as random as the sun coming up in the morning. Like I said at the start of this thread, not important but was curious.

Mine always shows the same image (Yosemite) at startup, occasionally I see the wheat field if I happen to restart shortly after I have turned the truck off. I got it to cycle through all the images by repeatably shutting off and restarting. But the default is still Yosemite.

Would be nice if the driver could choose the image. Would also be nice to have some Canadian parks for us hosers.

On my 4Runner, you could upload whatever image you wanted, and get rid of the oem images. Hopefully someone will figure out the process for the tundra.

I kept turning my truck off and on repeatedly like @Dugnor mentioned and after about 3 or 4 immediate restarts I saw the wheat field. Kept cycling it on and off and from that point I saw the remainder of the parks. My son and I were both way more excited about this accomplishment than we should have been.

Now I am back to yosemite every time. :goingcrazy:

The images must be posted/listed somewhere. If anyone comes across them, maybe post them here?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the forest start up screen. I’ve seen the other 4 in the video and I get a different one each time I start the truck. But never seen that forest screen before.
