Anyone else have their digital speedometer screen defaulting back to fuel economy? It was staying on the trip screen for a bit. Now it keeps swapping to the fuel economy which for obvious reasons I don’t want to look at lol.

I have had the same thing happen to me a few times. I almost exclusively leave the display set to audio or the compass but it will occasionally return to economy/range when I start the truck. It hadn't happened for a bit, but it occurred again driving the truck this morning.

I wonder if it is at all tied to fuel level, I just went down to about an 1/8th tank. It could make sense if it was programmed that way to allow you to plan a trip accordingly to not run out of fuel.

Gotcha. Mine just does it randomly with no rhyme or reason. I was thinking it was tied to the key so I reset the program to be sure. Still does it

JIC, might you be inadvertently operating the left side of steering wheel toggle switch, that is how I switch between those 3 display modes.

Same thing I'm thinking. I will occasionally have it say no messages. Like I pushed the button to go left.

I wish it were that easy. That’s not the case unfortunately. It’s switching back to it.

Did you ever figure anything out? Just noticed mine doing this. I keep it on the speedometer setting but it will switch to different categories randomly upon starting up.
