I recently bought replacement headlight assemblies for my 2010 SR5 Tundra. After removing the old ones I realized the new ones I purchased do not support the headlight level adjuster motor. I honestly didn’t even know I had the adjusting switch in the cab until now so I don’t mind not being able to use the motor with the new lights.
The question I have is if I should just return the ones I bought and purchase the correct assembly with leveling adjusters or can I cap off or disable the adjuster and use the assembly I already bought?
    Thanks for any help.

I would return and get model correct lights. It’s a nice feature.

You could just not plug in the motor actuator wire.

Return them of course. I agree that the leveling is a nice feature to have. You can adjust on the fly depending on your load.

I upgraded to sequoia headlights and lost the leveling feature that I literally never used. Just leave the wire unplugged and the switch where it is, won’t hurt anything.

Get the correct one, if you ever carry a load in the bed at night you'll be glad you did... along with all the other drivers.

Get the correct one. I love The fact I can adjust them on the fly, especially when it gets foggy
