Hey guys I am looking at a 2023 / 2024 model year Tundra. I am curious if there is a way to turn off the WIFI and cellular? Either through the menu system etc. or more aggressively by pulling a fuse or power input if there’s no option to turn it off? Would the Bluetooth be able to be controlled by the driver and turned off / on as needed? Thanks for any insight!

Yes, WiFi, Cellular and Bluetooth are all controlled separately in settings.

Thanks, I did not realize there were settings in the menu to turn all 3 options off. I saw a topic regarding Tacomas where people were going to pretty in depth lengths to disable these features, I guess / sounds like the Tundra has additional options to actually turn this off if desired. If so that would be convenient.

I run with my iPhone connected via Bluetooth and use CarPlay while the WiFi and Truck's cellular are turned off. Of course, my iPhone's cellular remains on. I can separately turn the truck into a hot spot or let other passengers use Wifi or just leave it off. It is all controlled in the Multi-media platform.

Thanks. Do you know if this setting totally turns off any cellular connection to and from the truck? I thought I had read that there was some feature that was always trying to connect to relay data to and from the cloud or what have you.

Not trying to disagree but I just went through the settings and unless I missed it, I can't find anything related to cellular. I did find wifi, hotspot, and Bluetooth. But no cellular control.

    Hoping I'm wrong

Hotspot is cellular and if you don’t sign up for mobile cellular from AT&T, you won’t have cellular.

The other area of “connectivity” that you control is Connected Services through the Toyota app. You control these by not accepting them, such as the monitoring of driving for insurance “discounts”, etc. don’t want ‘em, don’t accept them.
