Have 17" Toyota rims on my Tundra, and went to get tires on Thursday. They broke one of my center caps.....ordering me a new one, but it got me thinking my other 3 need replacing. Anyone have success getting them off ebay?

At least they offered to replace it. I've had it happen a couple times. The tire tech was just being lazy (I worked as a tire tech for ~ 5 years). Rather than popping off the center cap, and then removing the lug nuts, they just remove the lugs and the tire/wheel with the cap still on, then toss it on the tire machine expecting the cap to pop off. Of course it breaks nearly as often as it pops off successfully. The manager came out of the shop holding my broken cap, patiently explaining to me how it must have been cracked or damaged, and how lucky I was that it didn't fly off while driving! He was very calm and well rehearsed, almost as if this happened every day. And no, I was not offered a replacement either time.

They popped them all off before pulling the wheels off the truck. Just a 20 year old piece of plastic. First the tech told me it broke, and apologized, then the service area manager came out, said they'd order a new one if I wanted, so he took my VIN and is getting me one. Also, ended up getting a $200 discount due to not being happy with the tread life on my Coopers. So, made it out the door with 4 tires plus certificates for replacement for $737.

I got a set of aftermarket caps on Amazon, they’re surprisingly decent and were cheap, not a perfect OEM fit but I haven’t had them fall off yet.

That is the same link I bought mine from last year. Was happy with them.
Also think the problem was you should not remove them while on the truck. Prying off can break them.
Take wheel off and pop them out from the back side before going on tire machine.
