Speaks volumes about the consumer today more than high prices

I'm due for tires anyway, and Toyo Open Country RT Trail finally popped up. AND are eligible for the discount.

 

I need new tires (more just regular all season than AT) but wanted to wait until I return from my oversea trip at the end of March instead of swapping them now and have them sit for three straight weeks.
But damn, those Pirelli are tempting.....

 

Sounds like a win. I, on the other hand, am not due for tires but I wanna upgrade sizes. I don't think I'll have an issue selling my 35s though.....I just have to deal with the wife aggro

Sometimes you can also stack on a 10-15% discount by using or signing up for their credit card for the purchase then just never use it again haha. Big deal on a 1200$ Or more tire purchase.

 

Yup did that once already. Now they just give me a measly 5%.

Just make sure you're getting 10 Ply tires.

The Cooper AT3 10 PLY tires are the best mix of grip, fuel efficiency, lowest noise on the road and longest life tire you can buy.

And, they are the last American tire since everything else was taken to China.

I will never buy a communist tire at any price because my life is too important to me.

 

Somebody buy these. They are 325/65r18 (fat 35s) and are D load, T speed rated, only 65 lbs... and I bet they get better MPG than any AT of similar size. I don't need tires yet, but since the ones I have are no longer made, I want to see some feedback on these.

Just came back from Discount. They beat the price of a competitor when I showed him the quote including military discount, and quoted the online Toyo rebate (I'll still have to order online to make it work). Biggest thing is there is no sign of availability but they'll let me know on Monday.

 

Haha I'm safe - they don't have the tires I'm lookin for. Yet.
