Pretty proud of my latest project. Took way longer than I expected mostly bc of my work and family schedule. Came out really nice though. I looked at the decked systems and didn’t want just 2 massive drawers. I made a hatch in the back that isn’t accessible unless the tailgate is down and you know where the release button is. I tried to upload a video but it failed to load. Overall I think it came out pretty slick.

Man that looks great, you did a good job. I’m researching this for my 08 tundra crewmax. I’m pretty handy IF I have plans to follow but so far no luck.

Nice work and use of pocket screws! I made one for mine too after considering decked high price and loss of space.

Yea I didn't have any plans and the project changed a bit as I moved through it. I saw a few ideas on youtube that I liked and tweaked them a bit.

Thank you! Pocket screws aren't always the best for joining but damn they are easy and made a strong enough joint for what I was doing here.

Yep I definitely would've started painting at the tailgate and realize I was screwed half way through. Nice work. I like the functionality of using the dead space.

That was the main reason I didn't go with decked. I thought it was a waste to just have 2 stupid long drawers and not be able to use much else. That and it cost twice as much as this project did.
