Hello, I am the proud new owner of a 2023 platinum 4x4 non-avs in Magnetic. Love the truck so far! I want to lift it 2" front and 1-2" rear to maintain rake for towing, and all this without sacrificing street ride quality. I will probably go with 2" front struts, adjustable rear shocks plus rear 2" coil springs. It looks like it will be Dobinsons IMS, Icon stage 1 (reusing my factory front coils) or Rough Country M1. I like the cost of the RC, but nervous the ride and/or quality may not be as good 3-4 years from now. Any recommendations? Mostly city/highway driving, towing up to 4,000 pounds, plus dirt roads, two-tracks, some washboard, etc. No extreme off roading. Thanks!

Dobinson's is the only option listed there, I'm running their rear suspension (fox up front). The icon is cheap sub for coilovers and rough country suspension is an absolute no fly zone for me

I just got my Dobinsons IMS kit installed and I can’t say much for how it performs off road but on road comfort drivability is pretty darn close to stock. I opted for the 2” front and 1” rear springs in 0-110 lbs. These run 10% more spring rate than stock according to Dob’s and feels like they’re right on the money. A tad more “support” in taking corners and body roll. Couldn’t be happier for the price and customer service.

Should I consider saving some $$ and putting a 1-1.5" spacer in the rear instead of new shocks and coils? Do rear spacers affect the travel of the rear suspension? Would rear spacers be a bad idea for ride quality or when towing??

+1 on good customer service. To me, that is equally as important as the product!

Getting my kit installed next week and will post pictures. This is promising to hear! I ordered the same kit except the heavier springs in the front since I have a C4 front bumper. Felt like this was the best kit for the money to replace my Westcott kit.

Dobinsons IMS for sure and a rear coil not a spacer.

I’d probably go with RC m1 front struts and airbags for the rear if you’re on a budget. I been running the m1 front struts now for 2K miles and it’s factory like ride

Im gunna have to give another vote for Dobinsons just because of how many options they have for springs and stuff. It lets you really dial everything for your particular setup.

Icon stage 1's seem just ok for the money. I would rather have different springs though. $1300 for a set of shocks with no springs seems a little steep.

If Bilstein had 6112's/5160's for the Tundra I would suggest those since they come with their own springs in the front for less than that, but its not an option yet. I think i did 6112/5160 combo with a set of dobinsons coils for the rear on my Lexus GX for ~$1200

So I have 37 on my tundra with a 2 inch round country coilover in front and stock in back. I'd like to see if anybody has the dobinsons IMS 3inch front and 2 inch rear. Please share a photo and your experience.

Actually they're not bad. The ride is still the same as factory but I would say 2" lift is not enough in the front for 37.

I have the same setup, but with a 1" spacer in the back. The RC coilovers feel pretty good! They aren't performance suspension, but for the price they are WAY better than any spacer lift.

Thanks. I'm between the Dobinson IMS kit or just going with either the M1 or N3 Rough Country's.

I'll sell you my set of N3 if you decide to go that route. They have about 1k miles on them.

Seeing Dobinson recommends new UCA's for lift heights of 2" or more. Is this recommended for RC M1's as well? Would love to go with Dobinson IMS but realistically M1's are probably more in line with my budget. Off-roading in my case is reaching a nice camp spot from gravel/dirt road w 3500 lbs boat in tow. Looking to level w/ slight lift, nail the alignment and ride quality.

I have the 2” Dobinsons in the front and 1” in the rear and it’s awesome. I went with 2 and 1 because I didn’t want to have to deal with extended brake lines and new UCAs for now. Coming from the Westcott Designs 3-1 Preload collar, it is a world of a difference. Plenty of lift to fit my 35s, and I chose the heavier front option because of my C4 front bumper. Couldn’t be happier with it for the price IMG_4761.jpg

How does the stiffer springs feel in the front ? Did it stiffen up the ride , I feel the lighter rate springs are a little too mushy for my liking, a lot of cab movement
