I feel your pain. Just bought my wife a new 4Runner 6 months ago. Three weeks after driving it off the lot, someone dented and scratched the door....don't know if PDR would work. Let me know how it goes.

i'd think you could. fairly easy to get to as well since it's there in the door panel and not on a bend/crease.

Awesome, guys… thanks. Had to start drinking early to get through the frustration over this one… second time, argh. Some days it’s difficult to get past the “People Suck” boulder on the way to reaching the high road.

Always nice to have a reason to drink.

I've had door dents removed a few times on my 2014.
I've got 3 or 4 more now I'd like to get taken care of.

Those PDR guys are magicians. I’ve had several removed. Most are 100%. A cab corner (which is tough) was 80% plus and even that takes concentration to notice.

Anything on Tundra can be PDRed. I have a medium priced DIY kit that didn't work on old Volvo (too much metal), but fixes dents flawlessly on Tundra. Very happy with how it turns out.

I might try this, given the number of clowns gracing our wonderful state. Collision places are so backed up here. When you do your own PDR, do you gently apply a little heat or just work it cold?

I just had a dent similar to yours fixed about 3 weeks ago. Can hardly tell it was there. The only reason I can see the remnants is because I know where to look. Cost $150. The place I went to starts at $125 and goes up.

Heat is required. Unless in a 100 degree weather in direct sun light. But then you want to move it to a cooler place where the PDR glue has a chance to harden enough.
