I have noticed that the paint on the inside portion of each door handle on my 22 Tundra is scratched (in some cases badly). It seems like the paint on my 22 Tundra is the thickness of 1 atom (joking) so ANYTHING that touches the paint seems to leave "a mark".

That said, I know there are several choices for door handle cup paint protectors. Does anyone have a recommended or favored product that adheres (magnetic or 3m based) to the door cup area?

    Thanks in advance.

Just go to a detail shop and have them 3m it. All my door handle cups are done as is the sill on the driver / passenger door where you drag you feet across

ah ok thanks for the clarification.

guess the 3P package was worth it. the wife always scratches that area to hell. i always tell her to just use the tips of her fingers to pull the door open, doesnt take much for the door sensor to notice a hand and to pull the handle.
