Doors will not lock with the key fob or by pressing the lock button on the driver/passenger door. The key fob will unlock the doors as well as the door switch if the vehicle is running. If I attempt to lock the doors (with the fob) with a door open, the continuous beep does occur. If I'm sitting in the truck with the doors shut and click the lock button on the fob, you can hear something click under the dash, but that is it. I've checked the fuse under the dash and it appears to be in good condition. Has anyone come across this issue or have any thoughts on where the problem may be?

Check if your VIN is part of the TSB for the window switch, I think it's a whole unit so if the master has gone bad they will replace it for free99..

I do not see any recalls and don't remember ever seeing one for that particular system. I'll keep searching. If you know where the relay location is please advise. Thank you for the reply.

Not a recall it's a TSB for a master window switch, my case the windows stopped working while it was raining, because of course there isn't any better time for it to happen. I'll look it up and post it here, but it should be somewhere on this site.

Please post it but I'll look for it as well. So what I'm gathering is the issue may lie in the whole assembly?

If you are having the door lock issue as I described in my original post, I believe I have found the issue and the solution. The culprit I believe, is a bad relay. The problem with that, is it is part of the cabin fuse relay block located under the dash on the driver's side. This block is connected to the fuse panel under the dash. Had trouble locating a new one, but I found a used one on eBay. It was not extremely difficult to swap out, but you will need to remove the lower panel of the dash. There are connections front and back, so once you remove the two nuts you will be able to maneuver the block. The replacement block had the fuses, but I would advise to compare the proper layout and confirm the fuses are good. You only need to remove the two 10mm nuts to get the block off. Do not remove the lower bolt as it connects the fuse block to a metal bracket. After you remove the old block, swap the bracket to the replacement block. It is working for now. Only time will tell if this was the actual issue. Hope this helps.

Isn't that the body ECU? I've had a body ECU go out, but on my 02 Celica, lost a host of things, among them door locks, moonroof, tail lights, stop lights, engine temp and fuel level. Maybe more things, but I don't remember at the time. I think it happened when some ass hat clipped and stole my OEM speakers of all things, maybe they thought they were the good ones, but those were the rear speakers.

I think the main ECU is in the engine compartment on the passenger-side firewall. When I look up ECU, it brings up a different part.

Hey Paramed10, is everything still working for you? I'm having the exact same issue. Earlier this week, my alternator went on the fritz... I was seeing voltages from 11-18V, and I'm thinking it damaged this relay block. I am about to order a replacement relay box, but just wanted to see if you had any other issues or parts to replace after this posting? Thanks in advance!
