Door panel fabric upgrade?

Is the fabric on the 1st gen door panels removable to have new installed? Seems like all the edges at the tweeter pod and door handle are fused together and there's no way to tuck new fabric ends underneath. Mine is starting to look tired and worn. I'd like to do my headliner too.

I'm about to be addressing this myself. Both of the front door panels are the worst looking part of my interior now. I was very disappointed in what one of the better upholstery shops offered, which was virtually nothing other than replacing the door panel. I guess they just didn't want to do it

The upholstery shop only offered to do that small section above the armrest for the door panel. I'm pretty sure I could do that myself.

My base model 2006 RCLB has the best door panels. They look like new with 265K miles on it. All vinyl, no cloth.
