Any recommendations for a good inexpensive door sill protector for a 23 Tundra crewmax.

I know Tufskinz makes one, but it’s $100 total for front and back.

The 22-23s door sills are more “vertical” if that makes any senses. I just can’t talk myself into paying 100 bucks for them tufskinz ones.

Thats actually a pretty good idea with the non-skid tape and just cut to size.

Is that more than one piece you used or a solid piece? Also, do you recall the specific tape you used? Thanks for the help! Looks awesome!

Thank you! I believe I used 3 pieces of tape. unfortunately I don't know the brand of tape I used (it was some extra I had laying around the shop). It is a lot easier to work with if heated up with a heat gun or hair dryer. But is defiantly do-able without. (I did not think to use one until after the driver side was installed)

I like how you went on the furthest edge of the rocker. The kits don't touch that area and that's the part that I seem to kick most often.

I am thinking of using 3M clear protective film. You can get it in 4 inch widths and various lengths. It should'nt hold any dirt like the anti skid tape and be more invisible. Sometimes less is more.

Yes I did do this and it worked great and still holding strong over all these months. See link below, post #4589. I figure for $30 and a bit of my time I could redo this a number of times for the same cost as ones from Tufskinz. The 3M stuff is also easy to wipe clean, much easier than a grip tape but that works good too.
