So long story short I was rotating my tires today and fucked up with the impact taking one off and had to replace. Locally I was able to get a Dorman from O'reilly's and it looks exactly like my OEM lug nut. Threaded on and torqued just like rest. Is there any reason to buy an OEM one to replace it? I'm sure for something like a lug nut it can't be that hard.

    Thanks

I've used them at our shop. They are no better or worse than the OEM ones they replaced. We see mostly domestic vehicles. Ford and Chrysler love to use crappy chrome clad lugs that swell up. Those are the lug nuts from Dorman I am most familiar with.

OEM+, 6+1 bastard pack, 4.08 swapped rear end, custom spring shackles, 3 inch flat lift. This list will grow
I have replace all 48 lug nuts and studs with doormans. I have 1 inch spacers. I have zero issues

Thanks for the replies. I’ll save the $14 buying an oem one
