Why do OEM fender flares cost so much for a double cab? Found some on eBay that might fit but it’s doesn’t specifically say if they do. Anyone have experience with AC tundra fender flares on a DC? * truck in the picture is not mine but a reference from eBay seller

I'm almost certain that AC flares will not work with DC. Your best bet is to find a Japanese junkyard, preferably, and ask them if they have any flares. Sometimes you can find a parts truck on Craigslist or OfferUp.

DC fenders have a different cutout shape. The flares are way taller, also, but ... big problem is the shape, totally different bed, totally different fender.

Best bet is, honestly, to hit a JY, or hit fleaBay, or search your local CL for a parts truck.

I bought the flares you found on eBay for our '00 AC. They are quite good IMHO. The listing said they'd only fit '03 - '06 but after a couple of messages with the seller (fast response), it turned out they fit ours fine, just didn't use the short lower piece on the front. Cannot say if they will fit a DC though. Here's my experience with them:

I also bought the same ones and had them painted. They are very nice! No, they will not fit a DC.

The front clip on the AC and DC are different. The Sequoia and DC are more alike, just like the SC and AC are interchangeable.
