Just checking here, as I'm having trouble contacting AMP.

Is there anyone with a Double Cab that installed the AMP PowerStep XL version on their truck?

The normal PowerSteps can just be trimmed, but I'm not sure if the same can be done on the XL version...

    Thanks

Gonna say with the upper portion designed the way it is, the answer will be no.

So I went with the standard Power Steps.

Two pieces of advice for any Double Cabbers who want to install Power Steps:

    1) If you'd like to have easy access via the step to your truck bed, skip cutting the steps (which is a pain in the ass anyway).

    2) Connect your motors up before managing your cable loom to be sure you have a comfortable connection at the motor, then work your way back to the controller, zip-tieing your loom along the way

    Wifey is now super happy.

I wish I'd have measured mine before I cut them.
I was just going by the directions.
I still would have cut them, but not as short as the directions said to.
