For those with double cab Tundras who tend to keep things in your truck, what's your storage system?

I tend to keep some tools, bunch of ropes, jumper cables, at least one tarp, a tow strap, and a number of coats and such just in case.

I used to keep much of it just folded and neatly placed on the floor in the back and on the storage bins under the seats, with the seats folded up. It's rare that I have anyone riding back there, but on the rare occasion I do I would need to make space. So last year I got a storage trunk to keep back there. I keep a lot of it in that, and that way if I actually need to use the rear seats as seats, and I can quickly toss the trunk in the bed and now I have space.

Still, it's not super convenient. So I'm curious what others in a similar situation do?

I keep some HD jumper cables, gloves, tools (enough to pull my grill and replace headlight and/or tail light bulbs), spare fuses and bulbs, rain jacket, and whatever in it..
I have a bed cover so it all stays nice..

I just keep shit shoved under the rear seat and keep it down most of the time. Works for me and doesn't cost $$$$.

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
Have you done the “rear seat back fold down mod”? It allows access to the space between the seat back and the rear cab wall. Plus it’s easy and free.

Im pretty happy with the factory underseat storage. I carry roughly the same stuff as the OP. Ropes, chains, ratchet straps, jumper cables, gloves, and a first sud kit regularly. Even with all of that im still able to make enough room to transport/store a non scoped rifle during hunting season.

I just took the larger rear seat out. Great space for a dog bed and can still take a third passenger.

No, because I wanted Ruby to have the lowest level to jump in. She's getting on in years. And doing the fold down takes up too much floor space and doesn't leave enough "runway" for her to land. Thought about it though.

I'm not rich and famous but also not gonna cram a buncha junk under there either. I found these cool rubberized flexible bins at Home Depot last month that fit great under the seat.

I cut mine in 1/3 so the small side can still be used . If that makes sense.

That was one of my first mods went with the factory storage unit within a month of getting my truck got tired of shoving stuff back under seats all the time plenty of room in them plus you can put stuff behind them and the gear stays behind the box. Another nice thing is they can come out pretty quick if needed. I got mine at a local dealer for under 100.00 well worth it to me.
