    Hi
My centre carrier bearing was recently replaced at 260,000miles.

My truck did not suffer from any noticeable vibrations.

I am told all other joints are in good working order.

After my first drive I discovered a vibration.

My mechanic noticed he had not assembled it correctly. So he did.

However the vibration, although now different is still there.

Are there any marking to be sure? I have read there are none...

This video does show alignment marks. Are they to be seen in 2wd tundras?

I'm pretty sure your are supposed to Mark it before removal so you can reinstall the same way . At least that is how I was taught

Yes my mech did. However he did not adhere to his marks on assembly. I think his partner reassembled.
He did have to perform a full uninstall and reinstall of the driveshaft with his previous marks all aligned.
However the vibration persisted but at a difference speed.
Are there are any marks from factory?

ps; Pics are from the above vid

There should be factory marks still present. The 02’ still has the originals which were done with some kind of yellow marker.

Did they also rebalance the drive shaft? This is done on a special machine that not all shops have.

Edit, it really sounds like they did something wrong and potentially don't have the skills to fix it. They either need to make it right or give you a refund so you can pay someone else to fix it.

I replaced all of my joints and bearing and still had a vibration. Ended up replacing driveshaft after one of the joints failed and ruined the end. It was unreal how much vibration went away. It was definitely unbalanced.

Well that is too bad you had to go to that extra cost Coleman.

However I had no vibration at all beforehand. Even with a shot center bearing.

Sounds like one of your u joints is bad . Or perhaps the new center bearing.
