As the title states, I got my Tundra this past August. Only time we adjusted the driver seat was when the wife an I first got the truck and set the memory settings. Since then we had not touched the power recline or lumbar until recently. We noticed that the seat will not recline and the lumbar support will not work. The seat does slide though, has anyone had any issue with their power seats? Passenger seat work perfectly fine.

My thigh extenders stopped working. Not a big deal since I don't really use them anyway. I took it to the dealer and they told me something was unplugged. They now work fine. Don't know if that will help you at all.

Finally got the truck in for service and as you stated one of the clips came undone. Thank you for the reply.

The front leg extension on my platinum seats stopped working within the first week I had the truck. I made a warranty appointment but the dealer couldn't get me in for over a month. Finally went in today and they said the front extension motor was bad but they can't just order that little motor. Apparently the motor comes on the whole lower seat track as one piece but it's back ordered for a while. They've had to do one other one just like this before. I don't use or need the front extension but nonetheless I want everything working on a $65k truck. Just thought I'd report for anyone else with the same issue that the whole seat track has to be replaced.

Mine did the same thing and front leg extension worked like twice. Had it replaced and the whole base frame had to be replaced. Took a couple of weeks to get the part in and an 1.5hrs. All good!

I've had the thigh extender get stuck as well, I'm not sure why this hasn't been tsb'ed already. In my case I found I could get it to work by tugging it outward while pressing the extend button. Seems only to get stuck if you leave it fully in for a long time. I've left it slightly out always and its 100% now. I'm thinking they are parts cannoning the issue and probably don't have the root cause yet.

I just purchased my 2024 TT Platinum.... same thing has happened after 3800 miles. Brought to dealership on Monday worked for about 5 minutes and then stopped working again. Dealership told me I am not pushing and holding the button. Not true. Rest of the seat works fine. Just sent a video using my mobile phone and texted the service rep again. Very frustrating not having the leg/thigh extended especially for long trips. Side note - not as bad as my issue with the passenger front door where the lock kept flickering and making a loud noise and would not lock. This was repaired when the service mechanic said the lock was stuck and not an actuator. Lastly, the TT truly is an excellent vehicle with a very smooth ride.

Crazy - went back to dealership to fix the thigh extender after making numerous videos to show them. On the way to dealership on Friday it worked. Technician said everything was fine. Left the dealership and after a few hours stopped working all weekend. Very strange, especially since the dealership tells me there is nothing they can do unless I pull in when its not working. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue myself?

Hey Guys - been struggling with this issue on my Capstone purchased 5 days ago ! Intermittent operation of the leg extension button. I am scheduled for service to apply T-SB-0053-24 as well. MST claimed it is a certain fix but they will have to pull out the driver side seat entirely to insert the new o-ring.

Well long story short. Drove my brand-new TT Platinum to the dealership while it was not working. They ordered a new frame and motor. The entire package to fix the lumbar issue. Thought this was done correctly. Drove off and just tried to use the lumbar for my thigh for a trip from Augusta to Raleigh. Stopped working once again. Please call Toyota Customer Service asap if you are having the same issues. I called my local dealership once again and waiting on a call back. I have had Toyota's since I was 26 and now in my sixties and never had any real issues or concerns previously.

BigTrout - thanks for sharing the "spacer". After speaking with Toyota headquarters, they reached out to my local dealership again and now have another appointment next Wednesday. Even though the dealership replaced the motor and casing they now believe it is an electrical issue, switch, or bad OEM motor. I will share the spacer and part number with them. According to T headquarters there is no recall or other complaints.
