So, yesterday I took my 2023 1794 in for replacing the front thigh lift motor that had stopped working. It's now working, but now when I adjust the front seat forward/back, it sounds like that motor is grinding or binding or something when moving. ? Are there any kind of adjustments to be made to the seat/motor gearing? I've got a call into the service dept where i went, but wondering if this is something I can do and just resolve it myself.

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
Take it back to the dealership. Especially if you just brought it back.

I know it’s a PIA but they might of caused the noise either way it’s still under warranty.

Yup, Found out what it was....after trying to locate the root of the noise. The drive motor for the gear that moves the seat back/forth - is loose. The passenger side is basically, locked in place, the drivers seat, can rotate about 10-15 degrees, and if I put it in certain positions, it's quiet as expected, but it keeps defaulting to a noisy point, which is probably due to the torque applied when the motor operates. I also found a small rubber stopper next to it on the floor that is probably related to this. So yeah, bringing it back for them to fix it Wednesday afternoon.

All my seat functions work but I think I have the same loud grinding noise whenever I adjust the seat. Super annoying.

Mine’s a 2024 1794 HV. Let us know what you find out from the dealer. I’m thinking of taking mine in as well and will report back.

I fixed it, by turning the motor and shaft so it was aligned properly, and there seemed to be some sort of plastic piece that locked it in place. After that, I haven't had the noises any more.
