2021 Crewmax with dual climate control. Still within warranty, just barely, coming up on 34k miles - but I travel full time, and the amount of time I can have my truck in for diagnosis and service is limited. I'm hoping to get some insight on what might be causing this before I bring it to a dealership.

Recently, the climate control started blowing colder air, intermittently, for about 1-2 minutes at a time, every 10-15 minutes or so. It will then go back to normal. When it's blowing normally, the temp is as-expected on both sides. This does happen on both sides (at the same time), even when set to different temps. It happens with AC on and with it off. Same with recirculate.

    Any ideas?

Three sensors involved with AC. the outside ambient temp sensor, under or behind the front bumper, the solar sensor, on top of the dashboard, and the inside temp snesor, behind a small louvered area near the bottom of the dashboard, to the right of the steering column. Interior sensor might have gone nuts, or have a bad connection, causing intermittent problem. Or the solar sensor, I guess. Unless your outside temp reading is jumping around a lot, it's probably not the ambient sensor. All these feed info to the AC amplifier (under the center dash), which could also have a problem.

The attachment might help. It's for 2009, but I think the AC system has remained the same through the years.

Thank you very much for this. I might plug in and see if I can find the temp sensor readings via OBD2.
