Does anyone have experience with these fiberglass fenders? I know most of you guys who’ve done it went with ADV, SDSQ, or FW but I haven’t seen much discussion, if any, about these. IMG_9994.jpg

Duraflex has never been known for great fitting parts, coming from my previous car experience with Duraflex body kits. They get the job done at a lower cost than other brands, but you'll likely spend the same $$ getting a body shop to spend the time to fit them well.

Fair enough. From the research I did, doesn’t it include a bit more plastic to allow for more flex? I understand the fitting isn’t as precise, but wouldn’t more flex help prevent cracking? Again, I know very little so just looking to be informed.

I run Adv and we run McNeil/fiberwerx on the old man’s rig. They are thick and really all need massaging to fit. I’d stick with the more widely known units. The sdhq are thicker from what I’ve seen but all of them are not flimsy by any means and take abuse well. You’ll want to linex the inside to help the longevity as well.

Duraflex does incorporate some plastic in the mix vs. just fiberglass and resin from other companies, but it will still break if you hit it, especially with a large AT/MT tire. Regardless of the brand fenders you end up running, I would focus on getting the fenders to fit well with your tires at full tuck and make sure there is no contact.

I figure I’ll throw SDHQ into the mix as well. They are thick, thicker than my Fiberwerx were. Which was both good and bad while fitting.

Where's your winch? Or is it all just for looks? :)

Snow does not care about driving mods. Unless your mods include 100" extremely low pressure tires and 4LO regearing to like 40:1. But I get it, you don't drive where winch is needed. Fair.

Well I live in Oregon and drive in snow. And yes driver mod still applies.

You see? The guy in 4Runner would not need any help if he had a winch :)

He would need to learn how to winch in snow first, yes.
