Hi yall, first post. I'm wanting to know if anyone has any first hand experience with the DV8 bumpers on the new Tundras, and if so what are yalls thoughts on them.

I just picked up my 23 limited TRD offroad on Wednesday. I drive my trucks on lots of rough terrain for work, and on Friday went through a washout that was a bit too deep, and messed up the lower part of my front bumper. I figured I want an aftermarket bumper anyways, so this is a good excuse to get one.

I really came here to say Welcome to the Forum!

I don’t have any personal experience with DV8 products other than I equate them to designs common to Mall Crawler Jeeps on 24” deep dish rims from South Florida. I used to live in Palm Beach County and it seemed like most Florida Jeeps bought their “armor” from DV8. Haha.

I can tell you that I really like my CBI bumper. High quality welds, good fitment, and a solid powder coat job. Fairly popular bumper.

There’s also lots of trucks here with the C4 bumpers and owners who speak highly about C4 products.

Also, a lesser known brand is Lil Bs. They make a tube-style bumper that people seem to like. First time I’d heard of that fabricator was here on the forum, but I’ve seen a few trucks with that bumper now.

TBH…I haven’t seen any trucks on the forum running the DV8 bumper. I’m sure there are some out there, but it doesn’t seem as popular as the three brands I mentioned above.

Again…welcome to the forum! Post pics of your truck in the stickied thread up top! :muscleflexing:

Edit: Looks like you found the 1 known forum user who has the DV8 bumper from his post back in Jan of 2023.

You can check out this thread for pics of the most popular bumper brands (so far) for the 3rd Gen:

What is the lead time on some of the other brands? The only reason I'm considering DV8 is I can have it in a week, as opposed to a couple months.

Lead time will vary depending on your choice of bumper. Some I’ve seen have a lead time of 4 to 8 weeks. YMMV
