    Does anyone know if the EAG grill with the honeycomb and 3 lights comes with the handle to release the hood at the bottom? Sorry if this was asked, I can't find an answer and eBay sellers arn't responding. Not sure if I'm smart enough to attach mine to it or how to go about it....

    No it doesn’t. I just received mine in the mail. The handle is connected to the framing around the engine, not the grill.

    I will post one once I install it. Still sitting on the box because I want to color match the surround and bulge. Waiting on some vinyl wrap and going to color match before install. I know theirs a few threads on here about that grill. Also if you look at the Amazon reviews there are some tundra pictures on there!

    The handle and latch is attached to the core support, not the grill. You should not have any issues with that.

    The EAG on the 2nd gens comes with a bracket that requires you too use the Factory latch from your current OEM grill. Pretty easy do but does require some bending of the factory latch to clear.

    pretty straight forward but took a while with all the adjustments to get to line up closely

    yeah, it came with the 3 amber lights that I tapped into the headlight fuse under the hood

    You shouldn’t mess up the paint with the latch. The instructions aren’t very clear but once you get in there you will see it.

    you use half of the factory latch, take it apart and bolt it to the new eag bracket. There are two bolts that provide some adjustment to move the latch back and forth while trying to get the hood to close properly.

    the last step is bending the latch handle. I had to bend it a little bit to clear to close the hood. This was the hardest part because I installed and removed the mechanism several times to use the vice to bend it. I don’t recommend trying to bend it while in the car because the grill is plastic and may cause damage
