Hi New to the forum from Canada. Love my 22 Tundra TRD Sport. Been a Toyota fan for decades and I run them for many yrs,,, had 2-4runners, Sieanna, kids both drive Ravs, even had a Tercel,, one Rav is an 08,,, not a good yr re engine oil burn but still runs great
On my tundra I have had about 4 or 5 times where it felt like the rear brakes got put on for a split second to correct a skid. I was on snow covered roads but had lots of traction (did a firm brake check). Today after a 5 hour run all sensors were covered in snow and ice and suddenly I had the rear brake thing happen then my dash lite up with every warning flashing. Lost engine power slowly and had to pulled over. Got it started again but took a few tries I now have parking brake malfunction, as well as parking support brake malfunction, as well as pre-collision system malfunction and secondary collision brake system malfunction, flashing at me has anybody else run into this. Thanks and sorry for the long post

I had all the warning lights come on, and messages telling me that various safety systems were disabled while driving with very wet snow coming down, cleaned off all the sensors and everything was good. Did not lose engine power.

If the brake malfunction light doesn’t go away after a few dry days then you could have a damage speed sensor wire. This will shut down abs cruise control park sensor etc. cost me $900 to replace one at the driver side front.

I had it happen again today a total of 7 times. I did clean off the sensors but in the snow they got covered again very quickly. I will try disabling Auto Start/Stop
    Disable Parking Brake Assist
Ignore the dirty sensor messages popping up on the MID
Looks like snow all weekend. Good test before it goes to the dealer Monday morning. I also noted that the rpm’s dropped off as I slowed down for a stop sign and that is when the engine shut off. If I kept the rpm’s at or above 1200 I didn’t have an issue.

Turn off parking assist (buried in the MID menus) and collision detection (button with the car and cone to the left of the steering wheel on the dash). Also turn off LTA (press and hold LTA button on the right of the steering wheel). With those "features" off, slushy snow conditions shouldn't cause any warning signals to go off.

Just an update. The engine began to idle down and turn off when I came to a stop or let the rpm’s go below 1,000. The dealer has tested it out and has ordered what he called is a “fuel rail” which is for the fuel injectors. They said the fuel pressure was very low. Fingers crossed.

Maybe you got a pinch in that fuel line everyone is waiting for to have fix. Maybe it’s leaking or acting like a Venturi valve

I will soon find out,, they seemed very certain and I have never notice any fuel leaks on my garage floor. I will double check with the dealer. Thx for your feed back

Yes they just did that then tested again and have come to the conclusion it is the fuel rail as my fuel pressure is fairly low. I will update next week. Thx
