Got these two error codes on my 2012 5.7 tundra. It did not crank at all. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it cranks but the motor does turn on. It still puts up those codes. Any help, please.

The lack of a crank position sensor shouldn't cause the truck not to turn over. How is the condition of your battery? How about your battery cables?

I have a new battery from Costco. Bought it last week. P0335 is crankshaft position sensor, chip malfunction. P0338 is crankshaft position sensor, high input.

You sure? Try pulling yours out. See if it turns over

I also used the search option and search this entire site of these codes and the keywords. I have tried what they have done as well. I did use an after market sensor, duralast. Didn't even crank with that p.o.s. in. Went to Toyota and grabbed one. Put it in. Cranks, but won't turn over

It's not flex fuel. Maybe a pest issue but this place is really clean but I wouldn't doubt that could be the problem. I have no Neighbors and live on a farm

Pest is one thing, I'm still thinking it's a wiring issue. Check ground and voltage at the crank sensor. You'll have to figure out pinning or pin it out yourself.

I got a P0335, and it was the starter.... try jumping the starter relay, so if it starts.

Are you talking about the harness? Measure the harness?

Yes, make sure the wiring from the ECU to the crank sensor is good.

    I have same issue 07 4.7L moded... P0335
Had it running, jamming to tunes as we unloaded wood for the boys night bonfire. Then it just died. No worries I figured.... waited till next day. No fuel, no spark and a Christmas tree on my dash. New fuel pump as I didn't identify the no spark initially. Reset ecu and a glimpse of hope. A code finally came up p0335. As I had no codes prior. I now have fuel but no spark. Not 100% sure where to go from here. Any help is much appreciated. I ordered crankshaft position sensor. Sunday is when I pop it in.
