My new Platinum Off-road with the factory lift, comes with fog light delete. Does anyone know if they can be added? I don't want to blind other drivers, but I would like them to be available.

    Thanks in advance.

No way to have a lift with fog lights and not blind people in Honda Civics. I have the lift with 35s; you're going to blind people even with the headlights . Im not sure with the factory installed lift do they completely remove the harness. But when I installed mine, the kit include blank pieces of plastic that snap in place of the fog lights. easily removable. even if they remove the fog light control on your steering wheel , there is some aftermarket companies that make bezel switches for the control panel by your left leg.

    Short answer is yes.
It has been posted in several other threads that the wiring harness connectors for the factory fogs are still tucked away back there on trucks with the factory 3" lift.
I'm assuming they are a fixed mount and not "aimable" and that's the reason they are deleted.

They can be added. Not 100% sure about SR trim, but I have a Limited with the factory lift (so Toyota deleted the fogs) and I got fogs from the dealership and put them in myself. I'm assuming any trim higher would also have all the wiring still intact. Harness is there, plugged into the back of the "blanks". Take off trim, take out blanks, put in fogs and done.

I've never been flashed by other drivers, but I've only been in the truck for 4 months and don't drive daily at night. I'm also on stock (20" TRD Off Road) wheels and tires.

Thank you all for finding that information for me. I tried the search function and wasn't having any luck.

    Thanks again!

In other news, at what dealer did you find your Platinum with TRD Offroad and lift?

I have searched using Toyota's inventory tool, Autotrader, Carfax, TrueCar, etc. and have come up empty.

I searched Autotrader and found it at Larry H Miller in Murray Utah. Seen it was marked down $5,200 and I could get 2.9% financing as well. I called immediately and put a deposit down, jumped in my try that very day and drove 800 miles to go get it. I love it.

I too have the factory installed lift, and I put some fogs in that I got from Caliraised. Easy install. 20241217_162835.jpg

I have factory lift as well, and I get flashed all the time by other drivers unfortunately (no fog lights yet). Some poor lady in a parking lot parked across from me last night, and my headlights (no fog lights) blinded the hell out of her LOL—sorry lady!

As far as fog light install on factory lift, the factory light “stalk” that controls your headlights still has a fog light setting, if you turn it on, it shows the fog light indicator on and the wiring is there, just need to install the lights. Several posts/threads out there on this already but I thought I’d add that the controls are already set up and exactly the same as trucks with fog lights, in addition to the wiring still being there (thank you Toyota for doing this, I appreciate it!)

That's great to know. I just like the way they look even when they're not lit. Thanks for the great information, it is appreciated.
