    Are factory headrest covers removable?
I'm replacing the factory vinyl seat covers with factory black cloth covers and couldn't really find anything online. I found a lot of entire headrest sets for back seats, aftermarket covers, etc.
I didn't see replacement covers from Toyota either. Just whole headrests.
If they're not removable, I'm hoping to find someone with factory black cloth that have covered them and willing to trade for my gray vinyl headrests (figure it wouldn't matter since you have them covered). Just the 2 front pass and driver seats. And I'd throw in my pedal commander. It was left in the truck when I bought it last year with 4k mi on it.
Unless someone knows where I can get 2 black cloth factory covers, that's the only thing I can come with, without spending way too much on buying whole headrests.

The only covers that are removable are the 2 rear ones, NOT the rear center.

You can put the leather headrest covers over the factory cloth ones, would imagine you can do it with vinyl too.

Yep, but I want factory black cloth headrests to match the factory black cloth seat covers that I'm putting on.

Looks like I'm limited to buying the whole headrest or seeing if someone will trade.

If I can't find a way to get my hands on factory headrests to match the seats, I'll probably just cover the vinyl ones with something aftermarket.

I pulled the cover off my rear center when I switched to leather (not katskin or clazzio) and didn't have a problem with it.

Do you know if the front factory headrest covers are removable/interchangeable?

They are. I pulled all fabric off and replaced with pleather. They're a pain to pull off and you have to try your best at compressing the foam and then peal off like pealing back skin. Putting on the new ones will be a challenge too just because of the opening is small.

Also, forgot you have a DC, I have a CM so not sure if the rear center headrest is any different so YMMV

I removed the rear 60 seat section and left the little 20/jumper seat back there. I'm not doing anything with that. Just replacing the seat covers on the 2 front seats (removed the front center seat/console ).
I bought black fabric factory covers from a member who had leather installed. But I noticed that most people just cover the headrest when they get new covers and don't take the factory headrest material off. Probably because it's a pain, like you said.
It's not life or death, I can always throw covers on them, or just leave them gray vinyl. But if I can, I'd like to have it all match and be factory.
I'll start a thread in the market section and see if anyone has black fabric head rests that they've covered and see if they'll trade me for the vinyl ones. I'll throw in my pedal commander for their trouble. I'm not gonna use it and even if I sold it, it wouldn't pay for half of a headrest from Toyota. We'll see.

Yeah looking back, I could have probably left my fabric on and just put the leather on over it. Mine are all gray or else I'd offer up to you. I like matching too so I get wanting it to all match up. Good luck!

I installed black Katzkin in my CM.

Every installation thread I read instructs you to leave the factory cloth in place on the headrest, and just stretch the new material over. It is not only just a time saving step, but it also guarantees no bagginess or wrinkles on the headrests. That's likely why you don't see them available- everyone leaves those in place and then offers the rest of the factory cloth to the community for free/cheap.
