What is the right PSI for tires?

What do you guys have and what's the difference?

That, my friend, will always depend on the load you’re intending to carry.

Making some wild ass guesses and basic assumptions, I’d say in the 36-40# range though.

I found mine to be happy at 44psi cold. I run 295/70R18 though

But have you tried them lower? I only ask because I run my Cooper 275/65-20 in the 36# range. Both tires are a 129 load index, so should be close. I’d tried mid 40’s pressure, with not a lot of feel difference. My hunch is we’re both fine. I bet most folks wouldn’t feel the difference between 32 and 52 psi, let alone 36 and 44! Lol.

I’m anticipating to be in the same range when I put my new 285/75-18 Wildpeaks on here in a bit.

I have tried many different pressures and the steering wheel would shake a little bit at about 60-65mph and 44 seems to be the swet spot on my truck. Did the chalk test as well and its perfect
