I was looking at this a bit and Binize box offers a few different units.

So I went to their website....

Binize Android CarPlay Wireless BOX for Toyota Tundra 2023 2024

BINIZE WIRELESS CARPLAY BOX FOR TOYOTA TUNDRA 2023 2024

Same price, case looks different. Specs are the same with cores and memory.
    Both use Android 13....

    Thoughts?

Over priced and out of your price range are 2 different things. Always alternatives but overpriced is an individual assessment. 20 years ago, i would be with you, today.....chuck it in the CART

Its just ridiculous that we even need a device. Look, im not going to watch a movie while im driving - so it's impossible for carplay to figure out that im parked and want to watch something? Seriously?!!

Exactly, I really don’t understand watching movies/sports while in transit?

Distracted driving (watching movies and texting) can lead to accidents and with your family in the car you are risking your loved ones?

I guess you text also while driving? Please let me know when you leave the house so I can stay home.

I originally had the Binize box. Returned it and got the Carlinkit CPC200-Tbox Plus Android 13.0 Internet AI Box-Wireless Apple Carplay&Android AutoAndroid 13.0 (8+128G) for $100 less with more RAM and ROM to make it run faster/ smoother. The physical dimensions are better as Carlinkit is a much slimmer device. I went straight through Carlinkit’s website to get their latest and greatest and less expensive than what they’re going for on Amazon. I had to wait a couple weeks to get it, but it was worth the wait. They have 15% off the already discounted price.

At the risk of irritating the driving nazis, I'm very interested in getting one of these devises to occasionally watch a football game, movie, live TV, or whatever on long road trips with my wife. Unfortunately, I'm a technological caveman, so bare with my stupid questions.

    1. As I understand it, these devices run on an Android operating system. I use an iPhone and CarPlay in my truck. So, how does that all work together?

    2. How could I watch regular live network channels like Fox, NBC, CBS, Discovery Channel, etc...? We live in the boonies and only have DirectTV satellite. We connect to the internet via personal hotspots on our iPhones. No cable high speed internet is available here.

    3. We have purchased Starlink, but haven't installed it yet. The whole streaming TV thing is new territory for me. Will the Starlink service help me achieve my goal of streaming live TV in my truck? If so, do I need to sign up for a streaming service like HULU, Youtube, Prime etc... to get regular TV channels?

Again, sorry for my Neanderthal questions. Any help for this old redneck will be most appreciated.

    Matt

The box uses your phone data ( hotspot) . or in your case Starlink

As for individual channels I am guessing you just get them thru your web browser on the binize box. That's my plan. Everyone else is doing it so there must be a way

Mine arrives Sunday so if you are still in a jam next week , shoot me a note and I will face time you once I have some time to dick with it.

Mine got here today and got it up and running.
    - You need a gmail account for the Google Play store
    - For live TV my provider Telus has an app, downloaded it to the Binize along with Plex and Prime. Netflix and Youtube were already loaded. Watch a movie, watch live hockey. I use my cell phone for data, but you would use Starlink.

    The worlds your oyster.
