I've read that the 5.7 Tundra will do 0-60 MPH in 6.3 seconds.
There are many times (daily, haha) where I need to bead the car next to me off the line before the road merges to a single lane.
When the truck is in Tow Mode, it has lower gears and higher RPM shift points, so I would think that mode should be faster off the line.
Has anyone verified which mode is the quickest.
I'm talking about an empty truck that is not pulling anything and with the A/C off.

    The truck has 3 modes.
    1: Normal (All nannies engaged)
    2: Tow Mode (Tow/Haul on)
3: Beast Mode (All nannies turned off + Tow/Haul)

Thanks for the tip on Beast Mode!
I just discovered "Turning off the nannies" and "Tow/Haul Ass" mode from a search on here.
Just what I was looking for.

Tow/Haul Ass mode is fun. And it definitely makes a huge difference in the get off.

I fall in love with my Tundra all over again every time I press the Haul Ass button. I really need to get the TRD exhaust.

Tow haul just feels faster. The most important thing is turning the nannies off. My truck wi break the tires free and cut power almost every time. Tow haul does raise the shift points but I only think that makes it feel different under part throttle. If you push the pedal into the mat, it’s the same thing. I bet at full throttle tow haul will short shift and not bring it to redline.

Remove the carpet, maybe the throttle will open more.

My quickest off the line starts happen with the LSD turned off, I don't use the TOW/HAUL button but I am DAP tuned.

The Pedal Commander can add new dynamics to your Tundra. Sport + Mode is close to Beast Mode if not equivalent. You can also select a mode for every day driving that you will enjoy over stock.

Some recent threads of folks that have installed and are enjoying.

I found this today after 2 years of ownership, my second gen it never made I difference on like it does with the 3rd gen, I'm excited because the lift and 35s I just did I thought I ruined it it was dogging so hard.. pedal commander will hopefully give me this feeling permanently without pressing it every start up

Are you sure it's 6.3 seconds to 60 for 3rd gens. I know there is stock 3rd gens on youtube doing it in the 5.8-5.9 range not much difference but 5 in this case looks better than 6 lol.

My friend has owned a 2010 and now a 2015 Tundra, he says the throttle response on the 2010 was just like our current tow/haul button. This has been covered here before. Toyota eased up on it starting with the "3rd Gen" Tundra. I always figured it was to help with gas mileage.

yup, the DAP tune makes all the difference... especially with the LSD and TC turned off. I have had the tune for over a year and I could not imagine the truck without it.
