I am using Blackplayer, which is good on my phone, but terrible for Android Auto. I mostly want to easily search my stored music through “Artists” using the truck’s touchscreen, and then select an album.

Spotify imo to be the most user friendly to use with android auto. The menu is easy to use and easy to navigate. I also use tidal but the android auto app is horrible. I mostly use it directly through Bluetooth. It does offer ldac through Bluetooth.

I typically use spotify - much better integration, except for the fact that kenwood currently skips two per steering wheel press.

i want to try media monkey, but it seems more local only.

I love Amazon, however, the app sucks ass. It usually never launches on its own from the head unit. I have to launch it on my phone first. You guys experience that? It did it on my previous phone as well.

I use spotify, but the android auto app kinda sucks. No way to search on it, only browse.
I've found that i have to use voice controls and say "play AC/DC on spotify"

If you bring your own collection ...... I stashed a 1 tb hard drive in my dash. And used the other USB from the back of the radio to run a 4 usb hub. Then bought the usb plugs for tundra so I have all usb outs.
Power amp is all I use because I have music My truck does have WiFi tho I just hate subscriptions

PowerAmp pro hands down. Its a couple bucks but there is a free trail. It has great search functions and organization for finding your music and lots of other features.

That said, i have no idea if it works well with android auto but the developer is always improving the app and i doubt he will ever abandon it.
