To match, I would need to get Voodoo Blue. Not everyone makes them in that color. If I recall it was Bushwacker who I called about them a couple months ago, they do not make them in that color. They said order black and have them painted locally. I called around, might was well buy the colored ones up front. Just not from Bushwacker.

Have been pondering a darker blue rather than black which I do not want.

Wondering what others think about a darker blue fender flare to go with the Voodoo Blue.

Also, thought about ordering Duplicolor or similar spray cans of Voodoo Blue. Figured in the garage with the door closed, clean work area, I can just paint them that way. Anyone used Duplicolor or similar to paint the black ones?

Personally I don't like fender flares. Unless you have an aggressive offset, they serve no purpose other than looks. Also, they need to be properly sealed or taken off and properly cleaned underneath or the dirt and grime that gets under them will wear away the trucks paint.

That said, if I was going to do it, I would just get what I wanted and then paint them. You could try doing it yourself. But I would get OEM paint through Toyota if possible. This paint isn't easy to color match. The colors change depending on light. So you may get a close match, but it won't look color matched in certain lighting. But I honestly don't think the black fender flares would look bad on your pro. It will go with all the other black already on your truck.

I have the Warn 4xflares that are unlike any other flare I have ever tried. I have had the cheap eBay flares. Xeon flares, and Bushwacker....but the Warn flares actually attach to your truck through a stick on bolt system, it’s impressive. I bought them, had them painted. I would check them out, they are the real deal!

I had fender flares on my voodoo blue Tundra.

It was a disaster. They just collect mud and dirt on the inside and don't seal very well.

They look cool, but they are not good for your truck.

    Just my two cents.

Just ceck out build thread in sig
Yeah skip the bushwacker flares. I took them off my truck pretty quick. Save up some cash and just go with some fiberglass fenders. SDHQ, Camburg, etc several different companies make them. I have Procomp, which are sold as "flares" and often get mentioned in flare threads, but really they are more like aftermarket fiberglass fenders.
