Not sold on this look, just asking opinions.

Flares! Just make sure to install PPF behind them to protect the paint.

With that wheel offset, they look good.

IMHO, not that it’s worth anything, but I am a definite NO for fender flares…

They will help keep dirt and road grime off the side of your truck. But I think a little poke of tires sticking out looks better.

I love the Fender Flare look!

I personally prefer the OE style flares. One of the top mods on my list. Think it was like the 4th or 5th mod I did.

I think they look silly unless youre lifted on 35s with a chonk offset.

The previous owner put them on my truck. I like them, but the wheels definitely need more offset.

I would be too, except when one's wheels are out a little further and dirt/mud/rocks go up the door or the truck

I had them included when I bought the truck in 2014.
I wish I could remove mine having the stock wheel offset.
But the fender flares have rubbed the paint so bad it isn't correctable.

I liked them when I bought them, but not so much now..

I should have gone with the flares @normagene has.
They don't stick out as far as the pocket flares..

    Too many, but not enough....
With your setup it looks pretty good, matches the wheel styling in aggresiveness. Not a fan for stock wheels that dont stick out.

Not sure if they stick out as far as the pocket ones. I just like the old style stock look. Had them on my 07 Tundra and went with the same look.

Everyone's taste is different. It's just like asking if you should go with the honeycomb grille or the TRD Pro grille. Do what YOU want to do, because it's your truck. What's great about this forum is that there are so many different ways everyone customizes their truck. For me personally, if I were to put on flares, it would be the subtle ones that @junior has:

I'm pretty sure the pocket flares stick out more.

But then again from this angle maybe they don't.

I had planned to buy wheels with a wider offset, but they are all ugly.
Been looking at them for 7 years..

In 2017 I tried these Anthem wheels with a +24 offset and they looked better.
But could never get rid of the steering wheel shimmy even after 7 wheel balances.
They took the wheels back and gave me a refund.
I loved the offset, just couldn't get them to balance.
Front Anthem +18, rear stock TSS +55

With that wheel set up I think it looks bad ass since the flare is close to being flush with the outside of the tire. Like others have said though, stock wheels not so much.

I agree with the subtle flares, although I haven't been able to convince myself to do it. Looks better on a lifted truck.

I’m a no flares guy, but the ones with the exposed bolts are an abomination, vehicle ruined. Sorry guys that have it just my opinion. I just don’t get it.

I think wheel offset, tire size and lift size make a difference when deciding on flares. My truck came with them and it looks proportional but I don’t prefer flares in general on the tundras. The original owner didn’t use ppf and I have marks. I have my flares off to see if I can get the marks removed. If they can I will keep the flares off and when I get a chance I will get new wheels with different offset so they don’t stick out as far as they currently do. They look good on that color truck, I think they are coming off; been on for less than a week. That is a great color for the Tundra.

I’m not sure yet on the flares. All depends on where the tires sit. My Pro is getting the westcott lift. Then I might have the tire owner I know he did this before for me. I will have him mount a 35 tire on my SCS wheels and take it home and mount it on the front and check all measurements to see if there needed and decide if I want them on.

No. Buy a Taco that looks super big with em. It’s the equivalent of putting fake ti*ts on an awesome body for attention. Look at the above pic, fake ti*ts.
