    Hey guys,

First post here. I have a 2025 Tundra TRD Pro that's being built and due here late next months and I am adding a few last-minute options before the window closes.

-First one is the Tow Tech Pkg W/Trailer Wi-Fi camera. I tow boat, motorcycles, trailers, etc. Will this option be helpful in towing, or the back-up camera is sufficient? I already added the Tow side mirrors

-Anybody has the console safe? Is it a good quality safe?

    Few more options:
    · Tow Tech Pkg W/Trailer Wi-Fi camera ($850)

    · Hard Tri-Fold Tonneau cover ($1350)

    · Dual step running boards-Black ($710)

    · All weather floor liner package ($179)

    · Console Safe ($395)

    TIA

The all weather floor liners aernt bad if you have no choice in the matter but if it was an option i'd get aftermarket.

The dual step boards are junk. The TRD aluminum ones are actually nice but they're like $1200 MSRP

Thats all I can comment on.

I’d personally go aftermarket on the bed cover, steps, floor liners, and console safe. No need to tack on extra money in financing and better products can be had for cheaper and just a little bit of time on install. I have the console vault safe and really like it over the OEM one being the way it is laid out verse factory. I do believe the OEM bed cover is a rebranded bakflip cover (could be wrong but it looks identical to me).

Might see if they can throw in the Performance Package.
…and the TRD step board (or AMP power steps if you are that kind of person) is what you want if you gonna go factory.

    Congratulations btw

I just canceled the steps, as I agree with you. It looked cheap. I used to have the aluminum ones before on previous TRD Pro and it was solid.

Thank you guys !! I did not see a performance package on the package options. I will look again. Canceled the steps, the safe, and the cover. Only adding the WIFI tow camera and tow mirrors and the all weather mats. Everything else after delivery. Good call guys.

Tried to do that the first day in the builder, wasn't an option.

**edit. Never mind it's under accessories for $3400.

Don't the trd pro come with trd floor mats? They looked all weathervor they use to be. I use weathertechs and have a rare limited with trd packaged tundra. I think they are so rare due to the fact most for the price would just go pro.

I have an older Tundra, but the center console was there so can't remove it.
Didn't like it in the first place, but after a few outing where it was a handy for wallets and smaller stuff then number lock is pretty good.
    YMMV

You are correct sir. Just confirmed it comes with the TRD all weather mats. Also, their system rejected the color Mudbath and rejected the tow Tech Pkg W/Trailer Wi-Fi camera. They are not accepting these two options Nationally at this time. So much for the new color Mudbath.

I don't follow as much as I used to, but wasn't Mudbath color TRD PRO exclusive for this year (or was it last year? I am way behind on information.....lol)

Yes it is suppose to be the new color but the system rejects it Nationally. Unbelievable.

That's, uh, interesting. I would ask to speak to a new car sales manager to make it right.
Just my $.02, it might be so new that some of the options are available but not available for certain setup/combo.

This is what I was able to build on Toyota .com
I think if you start messing with interior color and try to switch back to Mudbath, it will tell you that the combo is not available and you need to choose other color/options.

The interior was left as black. The person that does all the ordering at the dealership received reject twice when he requested Mudbath. Same issue with the tow tech package. Nobody can order this color for TRD pro at this time. Nobody. You can request it but it will be rejected. This may change in a few weeks but right now it is a no.

As far as the bed cover, I do believe the OEM is a rebranded BakFlip as mentioned above. I have one no issues with it. But possibly wait for a sale. Last year Toyota had a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale all parts 25% off, that's when I picked mine up. Possibly they might have the same sale this year?

Thanks and will be on the look out for the sale for this and the Aluminum step. At $1350 it seems a little expensive for what it is, and I removed it. Sale will definitly help. The cover will be needed to close that area and keep it nice and clean.

I bought a LoMax tri fold cover from RealTruck for less than $900 shipped. It's as good as the one from Toyota. I also bought the Rhino RB20 running boards from them. Together they are 1500$ delivered. I like them alot.

I felt like the Toyota cover on my 22 SR5 fit better/more snug than the equivalent Bakflip on my 24 Pro.

Is it enough to justify the nearly $500 in price difference…probably not but to each his own.

Yeah prices seem varied. I search the Toyota part number, PT954-34223, and I see prices around 950. I looked back at my invoice and I had picked it up for 799+tax.

New here and searching through threads.

Can I ask what aftermarket all weather floor mats people would go for? I have only ever had Weathertech ... Any other ones as good or better? (Looking for a 24 Tundra Platinum Supercrew)

Not sure if you've finalized your order, assume you have since this is an old thread but...
I personally believe the only reason to buy any accessories while ordering your truck is to roll the costs into the financing. A good idea if you haven't set aside money for the small things like this or want them right away. The systems you list are nice but can be had for a fraction of the cost.
I use a wireless system like this when I'm towing, I have the camera mounted on the vehicle I'm towing so it shows what is behind the trailer and the second on the roof of the tundra so I can see the lanes next to me.
    https://www.amazon.com/Backup-Camer...prefix=wireless+towing+camera,aps,118&sr=8-11

Not a fan of the trifold mostly because it blocks the rear window when folded up. I bought this on Amazon prime day, had some slight cosmetic shipping damage, contacted the seller and he offered to send the damaged part or refund me the cost of the part, I opted for the refund.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B2BNHVYG?ie=UTF8&th=1

As for the floor liners I've had both weathertech and husky. The weathertech curled up and seemed thin, the husky's have been great but don't offer any grip when wet or have snow trapped in shoes. I went with these and don't think I'd ever go with anything else.

Ill second the TuxMat brand. Multiple friends have them on their trucks and every time I see the mats there's a little jealously from me. They have a luxury look to them and have great fit and coverage.
