Where should I start with these codes? I replaced my gas cap not too long ago. I was planning on doing a catalytic converter cleaner and using a spray bottle to find any leaks on the exhaust pipe. Is this the best COA?

Smoke test. Both with the port in the engine bay, and at the gas cap.

Catalytic cleaner is a gimmick. Don't waste your money.

But that many EVAP codes, I'm thinking a harness is buggered up or canister is fucked. I've only ever seen that many when I caught a piece of rebar in my tire on the interstate and shredded the EVAP canister in my MKIV GTI.

PS, straight from the FSM which you should already have a copy downloaded at this point unless you have your head in your ass and haven't read the sticky megathread. All 5 codes are clearly in there. And there's a procedure to diagnose right in the manual.

It tells you the trouble areas to check. Then it gives you a handy dandy chart, and if I read the rows, it appears there's really only 3 possible causes, but 5 possible reasons.
    • 0.02 in orifice clogged or open
    • Vacuum pump stuck ON or OFF
    • EVAP vent valve stuck closed
I'd still smoke test, it'd suss out the vent valve or orifice open issues. More explicit test procedure in DI-884 of FSM, beyond the handy dandy chart below.

Thank you again @shifty` I have my Haynes paper back on the way. As for the smoke test should I just bring it to a shop or would I have to buy a smoke machine? I prefer to do it myself but idk how often I would be using a smoke machine.

FSM is a free download. It's linked in that 'so you just bought aTundra' sticky thread.

Local auto parts store may actuall tool-loan smoke machine.

Not sure they'll have an adapter for the gas tank but if you still have the old cap you cna drill it and add a bung to it.

The smoke test port in the engine bay should be painfully obvious.

The process is in the FSM, which you've downloaded by now, right? It's free.

You've got the 1GR-FE which will be different from my V8. You may find this info from Tundras.com's sister site, TacomaWorld, helpful: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/evap-service-port-location.539389/#post-17524968

On my 2UZ-FE V8, the port is very obvious, and it may be in your V6 too, it's tagged with green and labeled to be very clearly seen:

Here are the basic components of EVAP system for my V8, your V6 may be similar.

This shows the general process of what to do in a smoke test:

I figured out the evap test now I’m trying to do a gas cap test and the exhaust. I need to get something to seal with the gas tank.

Junkyard gas cap. Drill it and install a hose barb. Attach smoke machine to hose barb.
