I've been lurking here for a while but now that I finally have my truck, I figured I should introduce myself, or at least my Tundra, a 2020 SR5.

Here's what I'm planning to do to it, roughly in order (these are not all mods or necessarily particularly exciting):

    Line-X spray in bed liner
Cap: I'm thinking either Leer 100XR or ARE V-series
    Running boards
    Winter tires
    Rear sway bar

Once I get a travel trailer:
Towing mirrors - I'm still on the fence between the Toyota mirrors and cheap slip ons
    Weight distributing hitch

I'm also looking to get a scan gauge and possibly some heavier rated tires once I start towing.

I think I mentioned this somewhere else but I broke a streak. 3 of my 4 neighbours to the north of me have F150s as does the guy who just moved in next door to the south.

i'm not one to tell a man how to spend his money, but if getting a cap, you could probably skip the expensive spray in liner, no?

Depends on if you are still gonna be putting a bunch of stuff in the bed that can scrape up the paint. A spray in bedliner is never a bad investment if it's applied properly.

I could see still getting it, but you could go with a OEM bed mat [$85 bucks or so] or one of those [felt?] liners [never had one].

Since i'm planning to use the truck to haul camping gear and stuff for my house, I think the bed liner is a good investment. Given the price, I don't really see any downside to putting one in. But I will skip the premium one with UV protection.

Hell yea! Congrats on the new ride! I’ve got a leer 100XL and I’ve also had the 100XR on my previous tundra, both were great, I just like the windows being frameless on the XL. And even with the cap, a Bedliner is good to have. Hell, my MGM has a bedliner and a bedrug, it’s very quiet back there lol. 8C797430-5BFC-4274-A11A-ECAB010CFBF2.jpg890DE7F9-EF56-4936-891A-6AA0CEC7DAEE.jpg

Thanks for the info. I was trying to figure out 100XR vs. 100XL vs. 100CX. But I can't find a way to get a quote from the Leer website so I may end up with an ARE. Also, unless I was misinformed, I don't think you can get a folding front window on a Leer.
