Noticed a couple places that leak. What do you think the best options are for addressing them and does ARE/dealerships sell this specific type of gasket or seal for this spot by the back window?

    1. Side window leak, i figured i can just caulk the trim of the window to seal it.

    2. All bolts from the roof rack have this wet circle from water getting coming through the rusted bolts. Remove and replace bolts and add a rubber washer/gasket?

    3. Back window--question above. The larger rubber gasket seems to be letting in a small bit of water that trickles down to the bed on the bottom part of the window.

My ARE dealer sucked and would not do a thing on just about every issue I had. My topper is aluminum. I literally just used high quality silicone and sealed the entire top with it. Used it around every seal, etc,... Took a while to nail down all the leaks but it's finally dry. All the dealer said was, "yeah they will leak".

Wow, thats a trash response by the dealer--but at least you got it sealed up. Did you bother taking the windows off or doing anything like that? Or did you just reinforce everywhere you could

Just reinforced. Basically ran silicone around everything, windows seals and all seams. The aluminum tops have a lot of rubber sealed seams. Probably not the best or proper way but it has held up pretty well so far. The water was getting in under the seals, so I sealed up the seals basically. Probably could have spent a lot more time doing it from the inside of the seal but this has worked well so far. And it didn't take a lot of effort.

When I use clear silicone around painted body parts I slather it on generously and wipe down thoroughly with mineral spirits afterwards. On roof rack bolts. I put gobs of silicone on the stainless bolt before I stab it in the hole so as to fill any voids in the hole.
Be sure to wipe down with mineral spirits several times to get what you can't see.

Nice, I'll have to do that. I'm hoping i wont have to drill out the bolts on the roof rack, but they're rusted up to hell and in bad shape so I'm anticipating it.

Any half way decent camper shell place can fix all that for you and reseal in between your topper and truck (assuming your topper isn’t that poor a shape but fiberglass actually isn’t too hard to patch up yourself)
