What brand/ style floor jacks are you people using? I used to have a craftsman, need to buy a new one. I would like to know especially if you have a lift of some sort. Let me know

Dang! This is a timely post. I was just thinking about this earlier this morning. Being 35+ years old my current floor jack is whoefully inadequate for the Tundra.

Getting close to end of my warranty. Used to do all my mechanic work with in reason. Not rebuild engine but tune ups replace parts etc. Then moved way out and had a gravel drive way so emergency work only. Now have a cement drive way back to doing the do.

Most of the new jacks are not made very well anymore (including Craftsman) .

    The Napa jacks are solid!

It just says "Pittsburg automotive" on the side.
Its their low profile rapid pump jack, dont see a model name anywhere.

I've got a 3-ton Arcan floor jack from Costco about a year ago for $100 and have been happy with it so far. I only use it a few times a year to rotate tires and go from summer to winter wheels on the truck and my Wife's car. I even used it today to hold the skid plates while I bolted them up.

I’m going to pick up the Harbor Freight Daytona 3 Ton this weekend. Looks solid and it’s on sale for $179.

I got a 3-ton from Costco, made by Arcan. A 2nd 3-ton by Power Zone. I think I bought it from Amazon. I also have a Powerbuilt Unijack 60000. But wait, one more...I recently bought a Quickjack SLX7000. I have not tried lifting the truck yet.

I have this one and it's been great for previous trucks haven't tried on the tundra yet but dont see why it wouldn't work.

I also have one from Harbor Frieght. It works great.

If I could do it over I would get an aluminum one. Mine is steel and it is heavy. I can try to snap a pic of it tomorrow for the make/model.

Nice thing about HF is you can get their mailer or sign up on email for it and you'll get their 20% off coupon or however much it is. I get one about once every 2 weeks maybe?

Some of their stuff is pretty cheap. Some things like a torque wrench I'd just never consider buying there. As far as the jack goes, it'll get the vehicle up but make sure you secure it with good heavy duty jack stands. I would never trust my life under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Much less one from HF:eek:;)

I rock the pro eagle jack. It’s great for lifted trucks. EB623419-2D17-4BB2-9D46-CD3CF3F3380D.jpg

Harbor Freight 3 ton aluminum mostly. I just respect the danger factor because I've seen it not want to lift my truck once. I need to bleed it soon.

Recently got these badass Esco stands too, I love them for my GTI particularly because they don't crush the pinch weld. They also hold the truck well at the frame and the big feet don't sink into asphalt. Not cheap but I'm way more comfortable under my car with these. The top pads have little grooves.
