Fluid Film on clearance at Home Depot

Just scored a twelve pack of cans at $5.76 each. Twin Cities. Half price. I use three cans every fall before winter. Peace. D

 

Nice score! HD here by me doesn’t seem to stock it, and Lowes wants 11.38/can.

 

Really helped keep my 2008 Tundra clean underneath. Truck was from Nashville but this is after five Minneapolis Mn. winters. Peace. D

 

It only takes about three cans to coat the underside of our trucks?

 

What's the best way to apply this stuff? Brush on, spray or.. ? Also what kind of surface prep do you need?

 

Pressure wash the undercarriage, let it dry, then just spray on real liberally

 

I drop spare and check it’s psi. I bought the gallon of the grease look stuff. Brush it on by hand on any frame material that is steel. Goes on brown but changes to near black. I use one gallon in five applications or years. I use the spray to go over some of my brush work or spots I cannot reach like inside frame channels. Just got done with my 2022 1794. Took me about five hours to hit everything good. Listening to Lions/Vikings game on radio helped . Next fall I will just mostly spray to coat again. Should only take an hour or two? Peace. D

 

Mine just put it on sale this week. I might be going back, my mechanic buddy said he suggests it to all his customers and this would be a huge savings.
